Servo motors differ significantly from ordinary motors in design and function. Typical servomotors do not run continuously like ordinary motors. Instead, they are carefully designed for use in application scenarios that require highly precise position control, such as robotics, automation systems, and a variety of manufacturing equipment. These specially designed motors are able to move quickly and accurately to a specified position and are able to hold that position steadily, rather than rotating continuously like a normal motor.
